Ruth has specialised in insolvency work since 2000, when she joined a boutique insolvency practice, and is experienced in managing corporate and personal insolvency cases – including liquidations, bankruptcies, administrations and voluntary arrangements – and insolvency compliance.
As insolvency manager in Bristol, her focus is to provide an efficient, responsive service to all stakeholders.
Ruth began her career in bookkeeping, qualifying as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2006 and becoming a Fellow member (FCCA) in 2011. She is active in the association as a committee member of the ACCA Bristol Members Network, where her work includes acting as an ambassador for the ACCA.
She gained the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI), awarded by the Insolvency Practitioners Association, in 2007 and passed Joint Insolvency Examination Board exams in 2009. She became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 2013.
