Ricki Critchell

Corporate Finance Manager


Having spent more than half a decade gaining experience in the various fields of accountancy, Ricki joined Milsted Langdon’s Corporate Finance team in January 2017.

Ricki began working in Audit in 2010 at a large accountancy practice in Bristol, which later merged with one of the UK’s largest national firms. During this time she switched from their Audit team to Mergers & Acquisitions, where she got her first taste of helping businesses with funding and transactions. In 2013, she qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland), which provided her with a deeper understanding of finance.

She has a wealth of experience in managing sales processes for SMEs and owner-managed businesses, having worked on a number of transactions, in a variety of sectors, helping with deals ranging from £5 million – £30 million in value.

She understands that selling a business can be a very emotional process and believes that having a trusted advisor working alongside a company, to ensure a smooth process and to get the best possible result, can help reduce the stress and make the whole thing less of an ordeal.

Ricki takes great pleasure in working with many different businesses and their owners to gain an understanding of how they operate so that she can help them maximise their company’s value.
