Chairman and Founding Partner
Specialisms: General accountancy and business advice
Jonathan Langdon is a general practice accountant who qualified with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in Bristol before managing their Business Services Group. In 1988 he co-founded Milsted Langdon with Simon Milsted and in addition to overseeing the affairs of a large variety of clients, he is the firm’s staff and administration partner.
Detailed summary of experience
Jonathan has over 30 years’ experience of advising a whole range of business, private and charitable clients and providing them with the conventional accounting, audit and taxation services which they may regularly need, in addition to the following services as and when required:-
- Grant applications
- Design and implementation of accounting and management information systems
- Compensation and insurance claim quantification
He is particularly keen to see resources used for their optimum benefit and it is no surprise that one of his particular areas of expertise is tax-efficient financial and business planning.
Having been heavily involved in both the founding of Milsted Langdon and its subsequent development, Jonathan is ideally placed to work with clients who are looking to establish and develop their own businesses. He also uses the skills he has developed over that time to lead the firm’s outsourcing department, which provides a range of services from regular help with one aspect of the accounting and administrative function through to providing the entire accounting requirement.
Jonathan has also been involved in training over the years, having run and assisted with a large number of professional and management skills courses.
