Milsted Langdon is celebrating the addition of another prestigious national award to its growing collection.
We were one of just five UK accountancy practices to have been shortlisted in the category, and the only regional firm in the South West to have made it to the final stages. The judging panel based the award on the high quality of taxation services on offer, the technical strength and depth of our tax team, and the positive testimonials provided by many of our clients.
Tax Partner Rob Chedzoy commented, “We were shortlisted for the award in 2011 and 2013, and to be finally named as winners in 2016 is a fantastic achievement. This is a testament to the commitment and hard work of the entire tax team over the last 12 months.
“We were up against some very strong national competition, and it was great to have been recognised in this way by the judges, who included some of the best known names in the industry.
“We are particularly grateful to our clients for their confidence and trust in our tax practice and in the firm as a whole. Their support and testimonials played a significant part in us being named as winners.”
The awards were presented by Gyles Brandreth, the writer, broadcaster and former Conservative MP, well known for his appearances on QI and Have I Got News for You. Tax Partners Simon Denton, Rob Chedzoy and Rachael Verinder are pictured at the ceremony.
The Tolley’s Taxation Award follows a number of other successes, including being voted Independent Firm of the Year in the South West category at the British Accountancy Awards in 2014, and Large Firm of the year at the Practice Excellence Awards for three consecutive years.
