Milsted Langdon appoints three new partners
Milsted Langdon has promoted three of its managers to partner level.
Rob Chedzoy, Gill Freeman and Stephen Griffiths took up their new roles on 1 May 2011, bringing the number of partners at the firm up to 16.
Rob joined Milsted Langdon’s Taunton office in 2009, having spent 12 years at Baker Tilly, where he managed its Bristol office’s corporate tax team and chaired the firm’s national corporate transactions tax group. Having qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 1999, Rob has particular expertise in helping clients find tax efficient ways to do business.
Gill, who is based at the Yeovil office, joined the firm in 2005 after training with a Top 10 national accountancy firm. She works with owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors, as well as advising clients within the charities and education sectors. Gill also lectures regularly, both inside and outside the firm, on a wide range of technical subjects.
Stephen joined Milsted Langdon at the end of 2007, having spent seven years at a top-tier Bristol firm, where he dealt with personal and business tax compliance and advised on matters such as property transactions and corporate reconstructions. A member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians, Stephen was manager of the personal tax department at Milsted Langdon’s Yeovil office before being made a partner.
Jonathan Langdon, the firm’s chairman and founding partner, said: “I am delighted that Rob, Gill and Stephen have become partners in the practice.
“As managers, their considerable experience has already proven to be of great benefit to clients and colleagues alike and I am confident that, as partners, they will continue to play a key role in taking the firm forward.”
