Milsted Langdon victorious at Foot Anstey Charity Quiz

Members of staff from chartered accountancy firm, Milsted Langdon, based in the South West, proved that accountants are better than other professionals when it comes to trivia by winning the third Annual Foot Anstey Charity Quiz.

The teams, which were made up of various accountants, bankers, solicitors and barristers from the Taunton area, congregated at Somerset College on March 3 to take part in the quiz that was in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice.

The Milsted Langdon team, Jonathan Langdon, Simon Denton, Nigel Fry, Susannah Adams and Steve Lacey, were put through their paces in a series of rounds including local knowledge, sports, general knowledge and the ubiquitous picture round.

There was also a prize draw and a talk by St Margaret’s Hospice about their work.

The Milsted Langdon team scored a constant 7 or 8 for each round during the first part of the quiz. In the second, their scores increased to 8s and 9s. The final round, which was music, is where Susannah and Steve came into their element, and it was victory for the Milsted Langdon team who took home the trophy on behalf of all the staff.
