Milsted Langdon says ‘thank you’ with a summer party

South West-based firm of chartered accountants Milsted Langdon has thanked its professional referrers by inviting them to a summer party.

The firm held the event at Queen’s College Conference Centre, in Taunton, and invited local bankers, solicitors and other professional contacts who refer business to Milsted Langdon.

More than 120 people attended, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Taunton Deane, Steve and Diana Brookes.

Guests were also given the opportunity to meet the firm’s three newest partners – tax partners Rob Chedzoy and Stephen Griffiths, and Gill Freeman, who specialises in academy schools, charities and business services.

Chairman and founding partner Jonathan Langdon also announced the appointment of former Bank of England regional agent Kevin Butler, who recently joined the firm as a consultant chief economist.

Commenting on the day, Jonathan Langdon said: “As a firm, we rely on referrals from professional contacts such as bankers and lawyers, so this party was our way of thanking them for their continued support throughout the year.

“It was also an excellent opportunity to introduce our new partners and announce our appointment of Kevin.”
