Milsted Langdon In Line For Top Award

South-West accountancy firm Milsted Langdon had cause to celebrate this week with the news that it had been shortlisted for a prestigious award for insolvency practitioners.

Milsted Langdon, which has offices in Bristol, Taunton and Yeovil, is in the running for the Corporate Recovery Firm of the Year award in the ‘mid-size’ category, for firms with between three and 20 licensed insolvency practitioners.

Now in their third year, the Insolvency and Rescue Awards – organised by Credit Today magazine – are designed to reward good practice in the industry. The overall winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 21 October.

In order to be considered for the awards, Milsted Langdon had to complete a detailed entry, outlining the firm’s achievements over the past year, as well as specific examples of insolvency work undertaken.

Milsted Langdon insolvency partner Simon Rowe said: “The Insolvency and Rescue awards have quickly become one of the most prestigious ceremonies in the sector, so to have been shortlisted in our first year of entry is a fantastic achievement.

“It is a tribute to the work of our entire insolvency team here, who always put in a great deal of effort to ensure stakeholders receive the best possible service at what can often be a difficult time for them.

“We are looking forward to the awards ceremony next month and hope we can go one better and be crowned the overall winner in our category.”
