David Jacobs qualified as a Chartered Accountant with one of the large international firms in 1985 before then deciding to set up his own independent accountancy practice in Bristol. After ten years in general practice, David joined the local office of a national accountancy firm, where he continued to advise a wide range of owner managed businesses and professionals.

In 2004, David was appointed Director of Audit and Business Services in the Bristol office of Milsted Langdon and he subsequently became a partner in 2008. He acts as one of the firm's appointed Responsible Individuals for audit purposes.

David is also a member of NASDAL ( National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants & Lawyers).

With over 25 years in general practice, David has an enviable breadth of commercial and practical experience that has its foundation in his own early entrepreneurial success. During this time, David has gained specialist knowledge in the following areas:

• Dental profession
• Residential and nursing care homes
• Barristers
• IT and technology sectors
• Manufacturing
