Weathering The Storm Seminar. How to protect your business and safeguard your assets in the current economic climate.

HSBC, Milsted Langdon Chartered Accountants and Porter Dodson Solicitors & Advisors invite business owners and managers to a seminar packed with practical information on how to protect your business and safeguard your assets in the current economic climate.

The events are completely free of charge and are taking place across Somerset and Dorset.

In three twenty-minute sessions at each venue, experts from each firm will cover the following:

• Tim Close from Milsted Langdon will provide practical tips and commercial advice to help businesses survive in difficult trading conditions. Tim heads up the firm's business recovery department and is recognised as a key player in his field in the West Country.

• Linda Brady, Business Development Manager for Invoice Finance and David Druce from Trade Credit and Surety, an arm of HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd, will talk about the help which is available to look after or to help you to look after your Debtor Book. They will take you through the different options which can range from protecting your debtor book by insuring it, to help counter the uncertainty of these current times, right through to having your Debtor Book fully managed, allowing your time and energy to be given to the many other important areas of your business. They will explain how these options work and the considerations you need to bear in mind in order to make the most of the current economic climate.

• Members of the Family and Private Client teams at Porter Dodson will give tips on how to preserve your assets during the credit crunch. Based on the case study of a 50-year old business owner, our specialists will highlight practical measures for you to consider in order to safeguard your wealth.
