Weathering The Storm Seminar. How to protect your business and
safeguard your assets in the current economic climate.
This event is completely free of charge.
HSBC, Milsted Langdon Chartered Accountants and Porter Dodson
Solicitors & Advisors invite business owners and managers
to a seminar packed with practical information on how to protect
your business and safeguard your assets in the current economic
climate.
The events are completely
free of charge and are taking place across Somerset and Dorset.
In three twenty-minute sessions at each
venue, experts from each firm will cover the following:
• Tim Close from Milsted Langdon
will provide practical tips and commercial advice to help
businesses survive in difficult trading conditions. Tim heads
up the firm's business recovery department and is recognised
as a key player in his field in the West Country.
• Linda Brady, Business Development
Manager for Invoice Finance and David Druce from Trade Credit
and Surety, an arm of HSBC Insurance Brokers Ltd, will talk
about the help which is available to look after or to help
you to look after your Debtor Book. They will take you through
the different options which can range from protecting your
debtor book by insuring it, to help counter the uncertainty
of these current times, right through to having your Debtor
Book fully managed, allowing your time and energy to be given
to the many other important areas of your business. They will
explain how these options work and the considerations you
need to bear in mind in order to make the most of the current
economic climate.
• Members of the Family and Private
Client teams at Porter Dodson will give tips on how to preserve
your assets during the credit crunch. Based on the case study
of a 50-year old business owner, our specialists will highlight
practical measures for you to consider in order to safeguard
your wealth.
